Before performing any repairs, maintenance, or servicing a piece of equipment it must be Locked Out/Tagged Out. Lockout/Tag Out is a program which includes electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and all other power sources being shut down. Log-Safe Inc. can assist in the development of your own custom Lockout/Tag Out program.

Log-Safe Inc. has access to a large variety of material to use for educating employees in fire fighting. This information covers fire behavior, fire safety, fire suppression activity's, tools, equipment vehicles, machines and a brief summery. Employees are tested at the end of the program and the training is documented.

Job site inspections include logging sites, mills, sorting yards, rock quarries, shops and construction sites. These inspections help dentify unsafe acts, practices and conditions. We do this to reduce accidents and comply with OR-OSHA standards.

Due to constant exposure to high levels of noise in the Logging Industry companies are required to have a hearing conservation program. If your company does not have a hearing conservation program Log-Safe Inc. can assist your company in putting together a written program. Also we can assist in setting up annual Audio Metric Hearing tests by qualified technicians.

Compliance includes driver training and qualification kits, also assisting companies with implementing substance abuse training. Log-Safe Inc. has attended many Department of Transportation audits with motor carriers, this valuable information is passed to other motor carriers, educating them of the needs and procedures to comply with Department of Transportations requirements.

Log-Safe Inc. is experienced with the Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) requirements to comply with OR-OSHA standards. Log-Safe Inc. is ready to meet with companies and their employees to discuss P.P.E. requirements and when safety equipment needs to be taken out of service according to manufacture recommendations or is no longer effective to perform its intended purpose.

Supervisors that are properly trained regarding supervisory skills, duties and responsibilities are better qualified to train employees. This will help employees understand what protective gear is required for their specific job, the proper way to report an injury on the job and to help the employee to perform their job safely. We will help employees understand the hazards associated with their job and train them to identify and eliminate those hazards. Properly trained employees are safer and more productive.

Training includes implementing a formal program on how employees are to conduct themselves around hazardous material. Train employees on container labeling, Product lists and MSDS Index a list of Material Safety Data Sheets training.
